I was walking home from the gym tonight and noticed a Ring home security system on a passing home and wondered if anyone makes an inexpensive knock-off that looks like the ring alarm but is just for show as a deterrent?

Hey thanks, when I see a Ring alarm system on a home it's definitely a home I wouldn't mess with if I was in a different profession.

I think why I'm so deterred by the Ring Alarm system is that I have seen the video quality and distance that it reaches with motion detection, plus it can alert the homeowner even if they are half a world away.

Havent seen any of that style in person, so I wouldnt be able to say if they are any good. Have heard that people are stealing them.
