Does sts turbo really fit the 4.0l

    quick shift kit,magna flow,need some chips,headers,And a dang turbo!
    I've been waiting to find a kit for my 06 and i read someones post that the sts turbo for the 3.4 is the same as the 4.0l could someone smart about engines reply so i can get this over with.

    The two kits are indeed different.....but when you call them they do sell a 4.0l kit i know becaue i am currently running the kit

    so how does the kit run? whats your mpgs w/ the kit? any pics? any problems w/ the turbo mounted under the bed? also, honestly, how bad is the lag?

    anyone still lookin at this post?? does anyone know or know someone with the experience if you can do a water crossing with the turbo under the bed? im wondering if you could run the filter re-location hose through the bed floor like people do with stacks.

    There is a 4x4 owner over on XRU who sucked up water going through heavy rain and cooked the motor.

    he now has a rebuilt 4.0L with forged internals and upped the boost, and he reworked the intake

    i think there were a few 1st gens that relocated the intake into their bed. that just sounds like a waste to me, but whatever..
