Just bought my first Tacoma and received a notice about a recall for the rear leafs. It said 3packs and 4 packs. I have 5.
Is there any way to tell if these are the factory springs that need replaced with an add a leaf?
The only thing written that I can find on them is a MX.
    Thanks for any help!

Can you get a more full picture of the leaf pack. Looks either an AAL or aftermarket leaf pack has been put on.

Looks like someone put an extra leaf in below the main leaf, or its some aftermarket replacement leaf pack.

Best thing you can do is just take it into a dealership for their assessment. If your Taco is still eligible and the previous owner didn't bungle something up with the AAL, then bonus - you get a new leaf pack. If that ship has passed, at least Toyota will close out the TSB for your specific VIN. I just had mine replaced and was elated... 11+ years and 140k miles, new leaf pack. Can't go wrong with that.

Edit: [more info] My stock leaf pack was a 2+1, and the new is a 3+1. Further evidence that someone threw an AAL in there.
