Its also cheaper that route. But for kicks i did contact powerbastards this morning about theirs and they did confirm that even with the smaller pulley they equip their alts with it is totally safe on a 2trfe crank pulley to turn higher rpm on a built engine ~6500rpm.

The sales rep said as long as the crank pulley is 6” or smaller it will be totally fine. I just measured a 2006 pulley and the diameter on the ID belt surface is 5-3/8”. Flush with the back of the belt is 5-3/4”. We good folks

Not at idle your alternator won’t give you 90A. likely a little more than half.

as someone who has had various sub set ups. lights almost always flicker @ stop lights. i wouldnt worry about it. your battery will just die pretty quickly. maybe 1year 2 y ear tops.

have a spare battery with you and dont worry about it.

Good point though. My stock 2TR Denso alt is only 80amp and if your pulling a deafening 50amps then add the fuel pump, the dash lights, the ignition system, running lights the blah blah. Lots of little normal draws. A 4banger stock system is definitely not able to keep up with the pulled amps. A really nice AGM will mask the problem at slow speeds but the source of amps with a quality battery is the real answer.
