So this is a picture from my engine bay into the little plastic cover for the cabin air intake as well as what I'm assuming is the HVAC fresh air intake. But this doesn't make sense to me I feel like there should be some sort of a filter or hard plastic cover to direct the air more than just this flimsy little piece of plastic that is supposedly the air intake

So the 2nd picture shows my cabin air filter and then right underneath that is obviously the blower motor. My resistor my motor everything like that is all copacetic. But for some reason my AC just isn't doing very much. I'm not sure what the fix is. Is my next step going to be taking off the dash and going after the AC compressor filter that's right behind the AV stuff. I'm lost..

Oh Taco gods I beseech you help me and my lowly 07 Tacoma.

Not sure what "my a/c isn't doing very much" is supposed to mean?

is it not blowing cold or is it just reduced airflow?

Just means it turns on, gets cold, blower motor is cruising. But there is diddly coming out of the vents. So my AC isn't doing very much at the end point of it's operation

Update: I purchased some belt dressing, some white lithium grease and a new relay fuse, in hopes that maybe the rust issue of my Tacoma is blocking the AC clutch. The fuse just in hopes of sending a cleaner signal to the relays.

Anyone have any issues with the actuators of their AC? I'm hypothesizing that maybe one of the duct actuators might be kaput and is causing the impediment of air....?

Also try opening a window a half inch as I've noticed in my truck with all windows up the fan doesn't move as much air.
