Well, depends on the sub size and the sub's required room.
We used to use these for 4th order SPL burp boxes but they do just fine for sealed as well.
You just have to do the math on it :)
(3.14*R^2 ) x Length of the tube = x, then take x / 1728 for CF. Im sure there are cylinder CF calculators online though

Cut a round MDF ring that goes at the bottom, maybe a couple inches up so you can trim the pvc to fit over the hump or obstacle

Just working on the power and ground wires , but here is a sneak peek . I test drove the system last week . The sound was fantastic. When I installed the Mercury tweeters , I used the factory mounts , but twisted the mounts upward in an attempt to raise the sound stage .When I made the templates for the K62,s , I tapered them to fire upward . It worked great . The sound deadening made an incredible difference with the factory speakers , I cant imagine how good its going to sound with the Mercury speakers . I could turn up the music with factory speakers and you could hardly hear the sound outside the truck , yet inside , the sound was quite loud . The 1/0 positive cable is a nightmare to wire . Doesnt fit down the side along the doors . Its too thick .
    .
Working on the amp and crossover board tonight . Its a tight fit
    .
All rugged up and ready to mount
    .
    .

    .
Out of all the installation requirements to make this system function , I found it most difficult to get the RCA wires up to the dash . This was by far the most difficult part .

Looks like good progress. Yeah for wire runs, make it easy on yourself and just pull it all. Seats, carpet, all of it. It's just plain easier.

THANK YOU for taking the time to post it for the rest of us! Lots of work to do that. Could you verify that indeed the BT controls you had to purchase and install DID control an aftermarket HU (I bought Pioneer DMH-1500NEX)?? I have a non JBL 2010 with left side steering controls, like you do.

I got on the horn with Crutchfield and purchased the Axxes ASWC-1 this morning to control the existing radio buttons on the left, and then I asked him if it would enable a new BT switch I want to buy and install, he said twice when I questioned him that there's nothing that will get the BT controls to work with the HU. Is it the specific HU that makes it work or did he not know (he has 13 yrs experience). I really really appreciate if you can take a minute to clarify anything before I pull the trigger on the new switch control and install it.

If your pioneer came with Bluetooth , your left and right side steering wheel controls will all work providing you purchase the ASWC . If you want to watch movies , you will need the parking brake bypass .
You will also have to figure out a good place for your michrophone .
Been running this set up for 5 years now . Everything works good
