Yes, they do. You just have to solder a jumper onto both sides of the connecting points on the LEDs.

well my bulbs came in today. the 31mm length are just a tad too long. but they snuggly fit. so i would recommend some shorter like 29mm maybe? but they flicker... gotta get resistors tomorrow prolly. but with key on they look great!

correction, the pointed end festoon comes in a 27/28mm led so that would work even better prolly

Just to make sure I'm looking at the pictures on page 3 correctly, the resistors are soddered to the bulb, NOT the prongs that hold the bulb.

Correct. Jump the resistor leads between both ends of the bulb.

welp. today i took a couple minutes to install all of my leds in my 04 double cab and guess what they all flickered. the map lights and the dome light until the key was in the acc or on position just like everybody else.

im hoping i can do what this gentleman ^^^ did and just use one 1w 100ohm resistor on the dome and thatll fix the whole interior. is there any way to do this without soldering? i dont have a soldering gun so that may be a problem

but they look good from what i can tell in daylight when the key is turned :spy:

    That is correct!

I had to use 2 - 100ohm resistors on my '04 dome light...

Did you use 1 watt 100ohms? Bc you shouldve only needed one unless they were half watt.

ill see how it turns out tomorrow. does it matter the orientation of the led or the resistor when i solder them? anyone wanna give me a crash course in soldering before i do this tomorrow lol

yes, toyota bulbs are polarized. so they only work one way, dont get the led to hot when trying to solder them, cause the solder doesnt stick very good, and this will take a couple trys, let the bulb cool good between tries if it dont stick the first time, and make sure the resistor isnt in the way of the bulb. but once soldered turn the socket on, and hold the bulb by the led part and stick it to the connectors to see if its in the right way before installing, to save some time if you was to install it the wrong way.

Make sure the ends of the bulb are very clean before trying to solder to them. I had a hell of a time soldering my resistors on a couple and I attributed that to oily fingers. I used denatured alcohol to clean the ends and was able to solder to them without using flux. Flux usually cleans the material but I didn't have any on hand.

gah so i have a few questions for you first genners? so i have leds in my map lights and dome light and until today they only worked with the key in the ignition and in acc just like a lot of other people experienced.

so today i went ahead and soldered one 1w 100ohm resistor to the led in my dome light. and woohoo my dome light works without the key!

now the only problem is my map lights begin to flicker once the dome light turns off (only when theres no key in the ignition)

so does that mean i need to add another resistor to the dome light?
