Dome light trigger wire help

Hey guys, I've looked all over and can't seem to find anything on the trigger wire for the dome light. I have some LEDs I want to put under the doors to light up where I step in/out of my truck. I want them to turn on when the dome light turns on, aka, when I unlock or open any door.
Thanks in advance for any help!
