Will these be offered without the t-harness at any point going forward?

 

That's a good point for second genners and 4Runner guys. But makes it hard for me to track stock.

I think what I can do is leave the same button for the $70 and just have guys message me saying they dont need the T-Harness then I can refund $10. Best way I can think of right now with the way paypal buttons work on a forum post.

Eventually I will likely switch to a shopify site to make this easier. Shopify can get pricey on my end for the low volume stuff I do. However I got more projects in the works so that will likely be the route I go.

I'm just trying to plan ahead for my spreadsheet of mods haha. If I'm able to snag some puddle lights, then it seems like I would only need the module itself later down the road when I start getting all the lighting I want figured out. $10 isn't a big difference though if that's an easier route - just hate to waste a t-harness that quite a bit of work went into. Although I'm sure someone would be more than willing to take it and put it to good use.

 

Any benefit to this if i have the first gen version of this set up? I plan on getting, if i'm lucky, the meso puddles to tie into my current rock light set up.

 

Cleaner and has the T-Harness integration. I am trying to snag a set from MESO to confirm but it should work and still be PNP with a simple 4 pin jst splitter.

 

Cool, yeah i would be curious to see how to link in the puddles to the current rock light set up i have with the gen 1 version. But if i need to buy this gen 3 version to make that work I'm on board.

It will still work but if you want PNP then the new module is needed. I can try to help guide you through it if you PM me when that time comes. It will be just two taps into the t-harness. (BATT power and Dome Ground Signal, the splice into the rock lights will remain the same)

Lol all profits from today are going into the Tailgate Mod I am working on. Give me a nest egg for R&D and procurement. Gotta spend money to make it unfortunately.

And realistically any profits I make outside of that go directly towards Taco Mods. This is my loophole to get my soon to be wife off my back about buying shit for my Tacoma lol.
