I purchased your 3RD GEN TACOMA MESO PUDDLES COMPATIBLE KIT, CH4x4 Switch and the MESO Puddle Pods & Switch.

Is there a way you can provide a wiring diagram like this for the MESO Puddle Pods with Switch? Don't have to make it this "pretty." I'd be OK with something crude... it's just a picture is worth a thousand words.

See one of my previous quotes above. Does that help?

Yeah, OK... so this is how you wired yours up and it works?

I haven't gotten to wiring up the DSIM portion since I haven't ordered any rock lights for my build yet.
Theoretically it will work perfectly fine, as the MESO switch is like a pass-through to the DSIM module which just controls a relay. This way you won't be drawing a large amount of current through the DSIM module for the rock lights.

Are you going to add a relay between the dsim and the lights ? I am wondering how needed it is. I want to wire mine up but don’t have a relay on hand

Per DSIM, a relay is highly recommended. Another user on here used it without a relay and he keeps popping fuses.

    Thank you!

got a relay.... now the only thing I can find is how the relay needs to be wired if I have a Meso switch. Tbh I have never wired a relay before. Most of my lights go through a box that has relays built in.

I currently have puddle lights with a. Switch installed and the split off to the Dsim (no lights attached) and everything works. I just ordered a second Meso switch to put in line when it comes.

I can still wire everything from the dsim forward right? And just put the switch in line when it comes.

tl;dr - how do I wire the relay to the Dsim with a Meso switch as control. I saw the ch4x4 one but that didn’t make sense for the Meso switch set up

Are you wanting to control the Puddle Pods and your other lights coming off your DSIM with just the one MESO switch?

No I have 2 Meso switches 1 for the puddles already active and working.

    the other for the Dsim.

I saw that lay out on his web page but that’s for a ch 4x4 switch.

I’m wondering how to do the relay part when it’s hooked up to a Meso switch

Thank you @CttAznRanger for this lay out.

I’m going to do this same thing but I am unclear as to how the relay for the rock lights needs to be wired

The Meso Switch and the CH4x4 Switch are different (3 position vs 2 position, respectively). You can do it... just take some figuring out. Here's the wiring diagram for the MESO Switch (from his website).

Still not really sure how that translates.

the ch4x4 switch is after the DSIM module

the Meso switch is before the module coming straight from the A pillar harness.

Also since the Meso switch is 3 position I would like it to work in all 3 spots.

So I’m not really sure what I need to change about the way the relay is wired for it to work properly

I don’t think you can take the way the ch4x4 one is and replicate it. I have been staring at the Meso diagram and the ch4x4 one most the day before I came to ask here.

Hook the output wire of the DSIM module to the 85 pin of a relay. Make the 86 pin ground. Pin 30 goes to the battery through a fuse. Pin 87 goes out to the rock lights.
    Yup
You don't need the CH4x4 switch at all with MESO switch.
In our setup where we have the MESO switch controlling the DSIM module, you don't need an additional switch. The MESO switch itself will be the actual switch. It would just be redundant and not necessary.
Connect it to a relay. Pretty sure it is positive trigger. @DSIM correct me if I'm wrong.

I can always test bench this theory if anybody is worried. I would just need the weekend to do so.

Oh, no... I'm trying to make sense of it too. Sorry if I caused more confusion. Looks like @CttAznRanger is our guy with the right answers.

If you or @SubaruTheTacoma want any help or more detailed drawings, I can make that happen. Just let me know what you have and what wires for each thing.

Thanks brother! I have the MESO Puddle Pods with MESO Switch and the DSIM with CH4X4 switch. MY biggest confusion is the wiring in the A-Pillar. I have the DSIM dongle and the MESO switch dongle. I would like both the Puddle Pods and Rock lights to come on when I approach the truck. And I also want them to be able to turn off & on manually by their respective switches.

I am in no rush getting these on... I want to do this once and once only, so please... take all the time you need to come up with a drawing. Again, I appreciate your help!

Check out the crude MS Paint drawing below. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm sure I have everything covered, but let me know if I missed anything.
