God...and I see people doing this all the time.

Folks, when you're driving, you need to be driving. Don't talk on the phone, don't text, only fuck with your radio/iPod when stopped at a red light, and put it down when you start moving again.

Pay attention to the road. More lives than your own depend on it.

Not much......college student using the GI Bill to survive.
I use a bluetooth when I drive and it helps. I won't say I've never texted while driving but I stopped after thinking how I would feel if someone killed my family because they were texting and driving. The thought was unbearable so I decided I didn't want to be that guy and I stopped texting while I drive.

No, but seriously, I'm glad no one was killed or seriously hurt.

Day cab medium duty tractors do not weigh as much as you might think. Shove a 3,000 pound car into the side of one, and it will be forced over. Then add the added weight of the trailer, and you see the end result.

i will admit, i text but its only and ONLY when i am at a red light. even then im watching the light and as soon as it turns, phone is on passenger seat and im driving. its too hard to pay attention to the road AND phone when driving. granted, i talk on the phone when driving but drive the same as i normally do.

we're on a 2.5 week road trip now...............for fun, we started counting the vehicles passing us who were talking or texting.............it was about 40%. Today as we were heading south in Virginia, we actually saw a young lady driving a BMW and had her lap-top open on the steering wheel!!!
Some folks need to get a clue. If they want to risk their life, well so be it. But please don't risk me or mine.

I never text while driving, but I do answer my phone. That's going to change. I'm going to get a hands-free headset now. Very sobering video.

My weekly commute to work is a 5.5 hour ride, about 80% on I-10. It is easy to spot the texters, they will be the ones going 50 mph and swerving one minute and 80 the next. Makes me wish for train horns sometimes.
