I'm going to take apart my drivers side door this weekend to get to the bottom of an awful rattle that's been driving me crazy. It only rattles when I have the window rolled down. Anyway, any tricks or words of wisdom I should know of before I go gangbusters on the door?

I had this problem, and took the door panel off only to figure out that the bolt at the rear of the door that holds the window channel in place at the bottom was very loose. All I needed to do was tighten that bolt, which can be done from the outside without taking the door apart.

yup, ended up doing exactly the same thing but now the trim that holds the power windows and locks is loose so I'll be taking it apart again, this time to actually fix something there...
