Got rid of of my 02 when I bought my 2015 a year or so ago it had 486k on the odometer original door handles. One of the best trucks I’ve had. Did every service by the book and did tbelt and associated parts every 90k. That truck was great. I’ve hand 4 Toyota trucks so far all over 350k on each.

How did you remove this part from the door? I opened mine up for the first time yesterday and it's very well packed behind the window gutter. Any tips to remove it? Screw locations?

    remove door panel.

Open door, the 10mm on the bottom of the door and behind the door panel, and the 3 torx screws that hold the slam latch (pictured in original post) in place. Remove all the rods that connect everything and pull it out. Pretty straight forward, just get in there and start remove stuff till it comes out. The window track on the side of the door (side of the door opposite of the hinges) will need to come out. Thats whats held on with the 2 10mm nuts.
