I’m jealous of that scoop though. I’ve been looking since before I bought mine and have had no luck swapping. I still need to order my shell, truck feels naked without it (had an ARE on my 2nd gen). Lift and everything was all carried over so mine had a bunch of mods on day 3 of ownership haha.

    UPDATE 1/7/18:

I forgot to post these with the last batch of pictures.

I recently ditched my Baja Design Amber Squadron Combo lenses that I use for my fogs because the yellow just got too overwhelming over time. I also was starting to get flashed quite a bit. I recently bought the same lenses in clear and added yellow Lamin-X to the 'wide' portion. This provides a much better blend of light and I have yet to be flashed since making the change 2 weeks ago.

My tailpipe also got bent and crushed slightly in Moab a few months ago so I made quick work of it with my new angle grinder.

    That is all :D

The shell was a big expense. I want a GFC and would sell my current shell and rack but I can't spend that kind of money right now.

    UPDATE: 1/15/2019

Plans for Version 3 of my drawer system are in motion....let's just say it's gonna be sick!!! I will begin ordering materials at the beginning of March and will hopefully have it complete by May. I'm still assembling my shopping list but I have a really good idea of what i want to build.

Woah now this might be something I need to do! Did you have to measure out how long a wiring harness you needed or did he have that info already? I’m looking to do something similar on my windoors.

Great post, keep it coming. Your mods are awesome. Going to do some research on some of the trails you have mentioned. I wanted to ask about your mud flaps, sliders, and lift.

Mud flaps - How do you like em? I have 265/75/r16s and also live in CO. Thinking about getting some after how gross the door area has been getting this winter. a conscious effort is made to not get this on my calves.

Sliders - Do you think the top plate on the sliders helps block gunk from coming up onto the body? Would getting a pair w/o the top plate put you at a disadvantage here? How do you think your painting holds up to a powdercoat? Surely seems more economical.

Lift - I am also looking at an OME lift, 887 coils with the light/medium duty pack. How do you like it? I'm thinking to do this right, the SPC UCAs are a must. Maybe not, since I do not have 33" tires. It seems a more accurate alignment is easier with the upgraded UCAs. Can you explain why you did the U bolt flip kit? Is this just to accommodate the bump stops?

    Sorry, one more thing.
I have the same LEER topper. New from A&A. One of the windoors doesn't close with excessive force and both fill with water. Do you have either of these issues?

Mud flaps are great! They were awesome when I ran em stock and when I jumped to 34s (285 width) they stilll did their job semi-decently

Sliders def block gunk! I and my dog both like the top plate at 5*. It’s a good step more times than not. Paint has been really good, I do plan on raptor lining them at some point because they are slick when wet.

Lifts is great....buy once cry once, get the UCAs. I bolt flip does accommodate at greatly upgraded bump but they also all for less potential ‘hang-up’ on trails.

No issues with my Leer. Take it to A&A and they’ll take care of you like they did me. Mine used to slide on trails and they gave me a 3rd set of clamps for free

You and I live near each other and have very similar trucks. We should be friends.
    I also have a lift from @HeadStrong Off-Road lol.

If you could do it again would you consider the 888 or stick to the 887? Debating on springs and would be doing 1.5" AAL in the rear.

if you're only doing AAL I'd do 887s all day. I may have gone with 888s but I've been happy with my 887s

The only thing I don’t like about those type of campers is that you have to pack everything up to go anywhere. I like the idea of a trailer that you could leave at camp, go out and explore/off-road then come back to camp without having to tear everything down. But that’s just me, and it’s the same concept for a roof top tent.

Yea less than half the cost of the trailers I’ve been looking at. Minumum 7-8k to break into the trailer game, and that’s a pretty basic model.
