has anyone installed a double din with navigation? if so do you have any pictures of the install?

i am thinking about buying one, but i called the place that would be installing it and they said it would be around $230.00. i feel like that is a rip off :)

its easy to do just get a double din dashkit and wiring its just connecting colours. if the dashkit doesnt come with an OEM wiring harness try and and find one then you can just wire the deck inside your house and then it just plugs in. really easy not worth $250 bones

If its just the hu its not too bad, but if you add bluetooth, steering wheel control adapter, etc it gets harder (for me anyway) It pretty tight trying to route wires. I decided to let a shop do mine for 100.00. 250.00 sounds high to me...check around.

They mounted mine inside the cab on passenger side dash in corner. You cant really see it and it works great.

Do it yourself... Seriously. Do you have the JBL in your truck? Steering wheel controls? I mounted my GPS receiver on the little flat spot just underneath the driver's side wiper.

Then it will be a cakewalk. Do you have the wiring harness you need? Also, are you familiar with soldering or splicing wires together in some way or another?
