Yeah, the other one is green (slightly different green, but close enough I reckon. But me and Robert have swung a deal on the 91, and changed up the overall plan.
Still gonna yank both engines and frankenstein em together to throw into the 94. Since I'm using his shop, tools, yard, and expertise to do all this, I had given him dibs on what is left of the 91. I should still be taking the bumpers, rims, grille, and headlights to put on the 94, but we are leaning towards a different idea for the lift. Might leave the lift on the 91, which will be his, and buy a new lift entirely for the 94, with Robert going in halves with me to purchase it, since he will be keeping the lift on the 91. The $250 card from @Jamz will help with this, as it will probably be used to buy the shocks for the 94. We may even fab our own 4link setup for it, not sure yet. The exact lift that will be done on the 94 is still up in the air. We have also been talking about taking the SFA from under his 83 Hilux and putting it under my 4runner. Would be
So a lot is up in the air right now, but we both stand to benefit majorly from this deal, and I have no worries about him coming through on his half of the deal. If there is one person I can trust about stuff like this, it's Robert.

Sounds like you've got this planned out pretty well! Can't wait to see what you decide on for the lift.

Pretty sure I can still get that to ya- By the looks of it, We'll be dropping a Chevy 350 in the 91, so it's gonna need a whole different radiator and fan.

:D Even though that part is a ways away still, I've been online looking. I've caught the mod bug already!

Good luck. There's like 5 things you can do to it with our aftermarket :bananadead:

    Pretty much! :bananadead:
That's why we may end up fabbing our own lift- as much of it as we can, anyways.

I have that Smittybilt right now, apparently it's from Summit Racing. But eventually, Robert and I will be building one for it, like we built the bumper on his 97 4Runner.
This is the only picture I have of that one on my computer:

Not bad. Personally what i want ideally is one that mounts to the frame and wraps around the stock bumper and protects it. In a sense like a bull bar/brush guard. I like the look of the stock bumper too much to get rid of it

Gotcha. This one is frame mounted- cut off the original mounting pieces of the frame, and welded our own larger ones on. This thing is sturdy as hell. We built a matching one for our buddy's 4runner, and he "tested" his about two months ago- rather low-speed head on collision with a brand new Tacoma, and all he suffered was a broken headlight. The chick's new Tacoma was mangled pretty badly.

Damn that's crazy. I had a low speed head on 2 years ago with an old 80's chevy pick up. Im surprised it didn't mangle me and the runner. Those old american trucks are tanks!

Yeah. The Mudrunner took it pretty well. A the newer runners would not take it that well

One reason I'm glad to have an older truck! I feel that in the battle of metal vs. fiberglass and plastic, we'd probably come out on top.

Right? I used to tell my friends they better not drive slow in front of me because I'm not afraid to push them out of the way :burnrubber:

For some reason, my Dad always wants to play bumper cars. He'll come up behind my truck and bump it lightly, and hit the gas lightly enough to scoot me up the street. Never any damage, but the one time he tried to do that with the Buzz Bomb, (07 Chevy Cobalt piece of crap) he failed to realize that my truck was a bit higher, so he scraped his hood under my bumper.
