Yeah. :( We're gonna see if we can get enough between the two engines to carry on, and if not, we may be finding a donor or a whole different engine entirely. Maybe it'll end up getting a 3.4 or a 350 small block like his brother.

LM or small block Chevy would be semi-epic

It really would be! But I'm hoping we don't have to do that with this one, because whereas it would be epic, it would cost me twice as much, thereby becoming a long term project.

Again, unfortunate the distance between point A and point B.....A good friend of mine owns and operates a salvage business where they buy wrecks from insurance companies and part out cars/trucks. I'm headed there later this week to see him about a few different Tacoma parts and a few 4Runner parts (SIL's 4R) (Grill surround, aftermarket rear bumper, head lights, etc....) It's likely he'd have multiple engines, but the distance and cost to transport take away any potential savings....

I'm willing to bet Stonewall could make it happen.

It's probably more of a matter of dollars vs distance. I'll ask about motors.....Just not sure I can save him enough to make it worthwhile.

Yeah, but it is worth a shot of you wouldn't mind asking him what he's got. Even if it turns out to not be worth the drive, it is still worth checking out. I'm also looking for the grille and headlights (plus housing) from another earlier second gen T4R to swap onto the 94, because the earlier look was better.

He could make the drive easy peasy. I have no doubt that Stonewall could go cross country. He's a tank. The major constraint would be time, with the bus job starting back up the day after tomorrow.

    Howdy!!

Ok so here is the 94...

Some damage because Dumbass didn't clean up after helicoiling the spark plug hole

    Ugly rust shit

Piece of gasket that broke off and lodged itself in a port

And these are what the bearings look like from the 91.
