    Unless Doug Thorley imports from China, I would bet their cost is much higher than 30% of retail. I implemented a manufacturing system for one of the big US header manufacturers, and you would be surprised at how thin the margins are. The DT headers selling for ~ $500 with 304 stainless and ceramic coating is a pretty good deal.
