Is it possible to just extend the stock O2 sensors to read the second cat instead?

I'm gonna b running the same set-up. Considering that the TRD exhaust is just bolted to stock headers, and it already sounds great, switching out the stock headers for the DTs is gonna make a big difference. Cant say for sure cuz havent talked to anyone who's done it yet.

BTW not sure if you know this already but the stock headers are garbage. When u look at them they look decent in size, but they are actually a small tube ran inside a larger tube designed to be some sort of heat sheild.

Is that because of the dual cats California requires? Cuz if you have a 99 or older like mine with 1 cat than it should be fine in Cali.

Also the price is different between 4cyl and 6cyl basically your buying 2 headers for the 6cyl

    Banks monster and kn airfilter
I might be in 2 kinda pending price
    Few questions i have tho.
I dont have a SC, i run a banks monster cat back. What does headers do for performance and sound? And ive been told by a local shop that they have issues taking out the o2 sensor and it would cost me 200 per sensor.
Also anyone who reading this in hawaii have issues with being Pulled over? Maui just did a huge crack down on exhaust, over sized tires etc.

Most people consider headers the best buy for performance.

And some say the gain in performance is unnoticeable.

I have a cracked header regardless do I might as well replace with something better.

And now that my brains working, yes you would fail Emissions with the headers. The long tube headers delete your catalitic converters
Long tubes are bolt on, get the new gaskets.
