It's almost as if this question was meant for me haha na but the tires is one thing but the exhaust, from what I heard, they passed the no tolerance law. I think it's all the hatched back cars fault with their fat pipes making noise and all that. The headers would deepen the sound but if you keep the cat on it shouldn't be super loud and don't straight pipe it. Jus gonna be even worse.

Everyone keeps talking about Cali smog...people say "it deletes the cats" are you guys telling me that the DT long tube headers delete both cats or is it just the Pre cat that is required by law in Cali that gets deleted?

This should be clarified because models before 2000 only have 1 cat. There is no Pre cat. I believe the 2tr is an old engine right? So there should not be a Pre cat.

So who here knows if the DT headers delete all cats or just the Pre-cat.

I know oh the 2nd gen v6's, there is a cat in the header on each side which geta deleted when you get the long tubes, and there is a cat on each side of the y-pipe which gets deleted if you get the aftermakerket y pipe

Yea but I mean, you can't just call and say "I'm a TW member, i'd like a discount". Which I think is what he was asking if there was a membership discount. There's definitely a group buy discount thats for sure

on my first gen 3rz the cat is behind the flange from the j pipe. so if the header replaces the manifold and j pipe i will still have a cat.....i think? lol or do you have to cut the cat off and weld in the header?

Would you folks like to sponsor this Group Buy like last time?

If so I will have to ask permission from Thorley to be allowed to break the MAP pricing restriction.
