Well I'm here to say the lce did punch out better numbers than the dt header. Better on low end torque and overall slightly better throughout the range on hp. So from personal experience, their customer service is outstanding and the lce header is worth the extra 30 dollars.

I got the LCE and have finished my first 500miles.
It pulls fine up a long 6% grade on the interstate at 70-75mph without downshifting where previously I had to downshift. That was my semi butt-dyno spot and it passed.
The Scangage says I am getting a little less than 1mpg better for the same trip, but I will need a lot more time to get that established. It seemed to get a little better towards the end as the ECU adjusted more. I am optimistic about mileage gains.

Overall, I am happy. My skinned-up knuckles from the 2hour install are healing nicely as well. The sound at startup with stock exhaust is slightly different, but no louder. I don't notice it at all once I start moving.

Everything fit. The directions are incomplete but if you read the install threads it all works out. Even with trying to fit it in there were no scratches from the studs, so the finish is very durable.

Still gotta put the chart together. It may have slightly better readings but across the board in alot of places was within 1-2hp of dt s and on the low end, the difference it pumps out its about 3.5-4 hp more than the dt at about 2300-2650 but other than that there are a few spots they both read identical.so yeah you definitely don't gain 20hp like the charts above shows its a very minimal gain. Plus the only reason I was able to run the test was the header was sent to me free. (thus the reason I give them some credit.)

It was all done on a dyno in an auto shop my friend works at so it has the torque readings I'm just waiting on him for the two headers to be compared on a grid. He's a freaken slacker and hasn't had the time to get it to me yet.

Still curious nonetheless. Your post can also possibly help confirm wether a CAI for the 2.7 is beneficial or not.

From what I hear, aftermarket intakes make you lose some low end but help up top.
