Alright its coming up quick if you see your name and can't make it please let me know or if you want to come and haven't touched base yet now is the time . Weather is looking to be cool in the mid 60s with a 10%-20% chance of rain as of now with minimal cloud cover. Once again, all are welcome that are willing to be sensible and responsible. There are no organized events or group rides as of yet, but there is plenty of space to explore together . All toys are welcome and make sure to bring plenty of water and firewood!

Dove Springs is located north of Mojave off of the 14 fwy, about 1hr 45 min north of LA. it is part of the Red Rock Canyon State Park. in total the park is about 5,000 acres and has hundreds of miles of trail systems, some with mines and other attractions. ill attach some pictures of what to expect, and feel free to research and fill in the blanks as this would be my first organized event.

aiming to arrive Friday morning, march 16 with hopefully a few others to help establish an official site. this is open camping and although there are pit toilets available, there are no other amenities provided. the town of Mojave is about 30 min away and there is a store in jawbone about 15 minutes outside the park. this "event" in the making is open to all, not just tacomaworld members as i intend on bringing some ohv friends up for shenanigans as well. last time i was there, we were not hassled with firearm usage although we were miles from any other camp and were being very responsible, i would implore you do the same.

every trail we explored was 2wd accessible and there are plenty of 4wd only trail offshoots.

Coordinates (roughly) of were we camped last time. Most surrounding clearings would be suitable for groups of 30-50 rigs

I know ill be addressing it again later, the temperature fluctuated a lot this year in March. So id say expect anything from low 60s to low 80s during the day, and 40-60s at night. Should be good weather, and still pretty green with the rains we had this year.

Is that jawbone or north of it. I've been to Jawbone a few times.

Kinda what i figured. Thought if 20 people could commit, I'd make it official with work and plan out activities.

And I'm totally in for this. Hopefully it's still relatively cool out there during the daytime in March
