I too have the Downey 3'' kit. I personally feel like it rides better than it did when it was stock. I'm gong to be getting the Allied Spindles this next week hopefully....I think I'll take some of the preload out to make it ride even better.

Ya the Allied Motorsports spindles give you 4'' of lift. So I'm going to put those on and take some preload out of the coils now that way I don't need to worry about the cv's later on down the road. I have a couple photos now of what I have so I'll try and figure out how to post them.

It will lift you up an additional 4 inches so you could have a total of seven. I'm going to adjust my coilovers down that way the cv angle isn't very slanted so they last longer and so the ride is even more soft. I'm hoping to run the front around 4 1/2 to 5 when I get mine. As far as the rear I'm not really sure I think you can do deavers?

For the emblem in the front I bought some Krylon plastic spray paint from Wal Mart and threw a few coats on. I also spray painted the skid plate black because it was brushed aluminum before. It's holding up well but later down the road I might get the skid plate powder coated.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they might actually only be for 2wd. I don't know if they make them for 4wd to be honest with you. I'm pretty new to this suspension stuff too!

Hey 707 how much thread do you have showing on top of your coilovers? I haven't come across anyone else with the downey lift so I'm just a little curious as far as comparison.

mine are at about 2 1/2 inches lift they go to 3 1/5 but it need a block in the rear to level out and downey says not to go all the way unless ur only ridding on trails .and on the other i talked to some one at the yoda man an they said it is not possible to use spindles on a 4wd cant be done so that is only for u prerunner guys looks cool though
