Drain at the base of the windshield: Cleaning tips or how to?

    Not sure where to post this, so forgive me.

    Anyone know how to clean out the drain at the base of the windshield? Mine has got clogged with leaves, acorns, etc.

    5100s all around -- 1.75 fronts, 1.5 aal, spidertraxs, grillcraft mx, derped scoop & badges, AVID step bars....need.more.money.
    Could you post a pic of what you're talking about? You mean where the hood/windshield meet?

    Not too sure what you're talking about man... Maybe take a pic, or try and describe it a bit better. Do you mean the cowl?

    YES! The cowl! That was the word I was looking for. Where the water drains down form the cowl to behind the wheel, it's clogged with debris.

    take a wire coat hanger and raise your hood...proceed from there.

    ^^^ That'll work, just be careful not to push too hard, in case there's rubber tubing for the water drainage. Not sure if the taco's have that or not, but many vehicles do.
