I bought my first Tacoma 2 weeks ago.. Just installed a 6" Pro Comp suspension lift kit and 33" tires on it this past Sat. I am now having drive shaft vibration while on the accelerator (i have tried but shims provided with the kit for the carrier bearing) and sometimes my ABS will randomly activate when I'm making a turn. Anyone with common problem or possible helpful knowledge??

You're positive it's the ABS and not the VSC?

The little traction light blinks and it feels like abs but in the Gas pedal. What is VSC

You need to get the ECU reset for the taller tires. The computer thinks you're in an unsafe situation because it reads the speed difference between the wheels and changing the overall diameter of the tires will alter what the computer is reading.

What you are experiencing is VSC, Vehicle Stability Control.

The increased angle of the driveshaft may be causing it to bind under accelaration. Do the 2011's have a double-cardan style driveshaft? if not, I would assume that replacing it with a double cardan would fix the issue. 6" is alot of lift without modifying any of the drivetrain... Then again, I'm assuming you havent made any drivetrain mods already.

I'm on the south side of San Antonio by the way, nice to meet another taco neighbor!
