Just seems crazy that Toyota knows about the issue yet keeps building trucks with parts that cause it?

I saw your post about re-phasing the drive shaft, have you attempted to take it apart and rotate 90* yet?

My springs were installed today. After almost three years of fighting with this, 99% of vibes are now gone with no unfortunate side effects. The remaining 1% of vibes are likely detectable only because I am sensitive to them. I doubt anyone else would notice them now.

Good to hear you were able to get it taken care of, due you have any signs of the rhythmic vib starting around 57mph while cruising?

i cant find the full PDF yet, but the thread where i learned that the manuals were now included is here. maybe 'Rambone71" can get the full PDF, as he provided the photo i posted above. i'd like the full version also so i can take it with me to the dealer.

can OP or a mod change the title to this thread to say 'Driveline vibration TSB out, now covers auto and manual' ?? because this Rev1 is huge and significant to a ton of taco owners

    ^^^ THIS

X2, people need to know. Like Alloutdrs said, it's crazy that Toyota keeps building trucks/parts with problems.

i was denied the TSB work a couple days ago. 20k miles on my 2013 6spd Sport. they told me the vibes weren't severe enough, the TSB won't fix them anyway, and wait until it gets worse. lol. i'm just going to throw some suspension on it and fix the driveline angles my self. my warranty is a joke. i doubt my truck will ever be at the dealership again.

How do I know if I have the "firm" or "standard" ride in '13 DCSB 4x4 TRD OR? I assume I have standard bc of my 3-leaf pack... They gave you the choice to go up to the 4-leaf pack?

4 Leaf is standard on all TRD Tacoma's now. I thought it started in '13 but it may have been '14.

Think he may be talking about the shim installed on the TSB. You have a choice between the 2.

If you have a 3 leaf pack you can go in and get the 4 leaf pack put on under a different TSB. I did that on my '11 I4 SR5.

2013 does not apply for the "rear-leaf" TSB.

    Do you have a 3 Leaf + Overload or a 2 Leaf + Overload?

2+Overload.... I went in an tried at the dealer. No go. But it seems that the driveline vibration TSB, which I definitely have around 10-20mph when I punch it is another way of getting the 4-leaf pack.

This all stems from the same thing for me, sloppy rear end and vibes up front. Seems like the leaf pack is just shit and I can get rid of vibes too.

Don't recall if I posted after the TSB, but had it done about a week and a half ago. Zero issues, drives great. No more thumping. Get it done.
