Driver airbag light came on.

I went to a mud bog yesterday and when I was driving back, I noticed that my airbag light is on.

I am thinking its from some of those rough dips and ridges that were on the roads and trails.

Anyway to fix this problem? I'm going to attempt to find the problem tomorrow. I just want some ideas of were to start.

 

Plug under seat?

 

If you were mudding it's possible you have water/muck in the connections somewhere shorting out a sensor.
Good luck with the trouble shooting....

 

Isnt that snapped in good though? I've taken out my seats before when I was routing my coax cable. But that was forever ago.

Im thinking it could be a direct connection got knocked loose.

 

I was in alot of deep mud, but it wasn't the really deep thick stuff like what the other country guys were doing.


I have my limitations with 2WD.

 

Get it scanned for the code, it'll tell you exactly where to look for the problem. There are literally dozens of things it could be.
