Here is what I came up with for mine. Going to paint the components so they blend better but it works well and was easy to do.20180602_092038.jpg

Interesting! You think the visor bolt will hold the pressure of you going in and out of the truck?

Yeah I did go to home improvement and get slightly longer bolts for both the A-post and visor to make up for the extra space. Still trying to come up with something for the A-post so that is has a cleaner look.

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to do as well. I wonder if someone has done this already, I believe having the mod done from the A post would look a lot cleaner.

Do you have any updated pictures of this mod? Or a build page?

Just as with Doctors, the last engineer to graduate in his class is still an engineer. When you work in a company of 13000 engineers, yes many are incompetent and I have a Stupid Allergy.

The A pillar molding would have to detach if the curtain air bag deployed. With the grab handle mounted through the molding and into the A pillar, this won’t be possible.

How did 2nd Gens work with an airbag and grab handle there and how does the passenger side airbag and grab handle work, or do you just mean some custom job?

The Japanese are not bringing diesels to North America due to emissions regulations.

Unlike the Germans —and the Italians, the Japanese don’t want to install cheat software, get caught and then pay billions in fines and settlements.

Actually, you left out two groups that most likely make the ultimate decision at automakers these days: Cost Accountants and Corporate Lawyers.
