Driver's side window rolls down, but not up

    Agree... I had the exact same problem with the driver side window. Replaced the motor assembly and it works perfect. I think I paid about $50 for the entire assembly and watched a YouTube video so I knew how to do it. It was real easy.

    Now I'm declaring success.

    I bought the Dorman 741-799 Front Driver Side Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004AIFLMU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    The entire process put up very little fight and was complete in about an hour. It's only been up and down half a dozen times since replacement, but it's gone back up every time. I followed this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/window-regulator-motor-install.284882/
