    Hi

    2002 tacoma std V6 4x4 supercharged

I was driving on a highway with a bunch of dips, had recently installed the center bearing support of the driveshaft toyota genuine and on a straigth my driveshaft came loose.

Upon inspection the center support was horribly beaten and the shaft came loose from the union between front and rear shafts just rigth next to the center support apparently the nut came off.

I cant seem the yoke that unites front and rear shafts

    Any advice

    Thanks

I think @what road is going through a similar situation. Perhaps he can chime in.

mine didnt do that, but my cardan joint is shot. i have to get a new drive shaft, im getting it from napa for $650 https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NSO6007116 i got a discount in store. but my truck is a extended cab 5 speed 4x4. this is what i'll recommend for you. if you get a rear piece made your going to have to get it rebalanced and such.

What does the other end look like ??

Maybe a complete used drive shaft might be the cheapest option then have it rebuilt before installing .

No vibration before it came apart??

    Hi everyone

Sorry for the late reply. @what road also mine extended cab 5 speed 4x4. @Wyoming09 no vibration before it came apart, @mechanicjon Im located at Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.

Splines on the other end dont look bad, I think ill buy the flange sub that @ChrisTRD1 suggested since i couldnt find a used driveshaft.

    Whats your opinion?

    Thanks
