just wanted to change things up with posts lately - and I've never seen one with this before. I've had my 2014 v6 manual for about 9 months after driving an automatic 2006 Camry for about five years. About half of my vehicles have been a manual transmission and the other half, sadly, automatic. With this truck moreso than other manuals I've owned - I find that I love driving without the radio and hearing the truck work through the gears moreso than other manuals (and I love listening to music). Has anyone else noticed this with their manual Tacoma?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I slips it into 4th and roll like a G. Can't do that with an automatic

A tacoma running sounds like trash.

    My music however sounds nice.

Had a few beers before posting this! Seriously though, can't listen to music while driving this thing. I guess it might also be that in every other vehicle I've had a pretty decent head unit/speakers/sub which I currently don't have in the Tacoma. I've got to do some research - wouldn't mind trying to add a sub to the standard entune system and switching out the speakers.

    is that Rob Zombie?

as far as the OP... I think driving a Camry for so long rotted your brain. Give it time, you'll get used to rowing the gears in the tacoma and get back to your music listening.
