What if I told you the shit happened before the mods happened?

That's not really the same thing as an issue with a running light. You're looking way too deep into someone else's motivations.

It’s all pretty simple wiring using OEM connectors...no hacking going on.

You're kinda kooky. Odds aren't Toyota isn't watching you, but I get covering your bases lol. I get that mindset.

Not even close to related. The point is when a big company wants to cover their ass. They sometimes check forums. Especially when a lawyer is coming at them.

The first post doesn't have any copies of dealer notes does it? No screen shares of what was sent back and forth? No real proof of what was actually discussed? What if I told you that we probably didn't actually know the full story?

Put me in the confused pile then. What's the point of the thread? If you don't want it fixed under warranty and you aren't happy with the diagnosis from the dealer, take it somewhere else.

Especially when it's not a company. When it's a person who wants to look good FOR a company. I'd do my due diligence to prove this twat was full of shit. For my own ego mostly, but also to prove my salt to the powers that be. It's not THAT far fetched.

You have as much of the story as I do, but you certainly don’t have to believe that.

Then post up some copies of actual paperwork and dealer notes.

What would you like to see, the dealer paperwork from when I picked up the truck today? Not much there but sure, I’ll post it up. Hold please.

No, everything that you've claimed and everything that shows how you installed your accessories.

Now it makes sense, @computeruser6 is the Yota agent. Bet $100.

He wants the people that denied his warranty to do due diligence and prove that his mods are a direct result of denying warranty. Not just "we check the lug nuts and we denied warranty". Which is fair imo. I think he wants accountability, which if we all pursued, would have more pressure on the MFG to do the right thing. Which, again, I agree with.

How does that prove DRL failure? Tribe mentality is real man! It's insane!

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
These lights are really expensive and it would suck to have to buy new ones.
Up to now thousands of guys have added aftermarket lighting with minimal problems on earlier years.
Good for new buyers of 2020s to be aware that they could possibly have issues
He is driving through water mid wheel deep, not exactly hard core. Now if he was crossing the Mojave river hood deep thats different.
