oh it doesn't. But I would expect warranty denial from misuse before blaming aftermarket lights.

Light was already out at that point. You can probably see the date on the photo/post.

I agree, if there was corrosion in the wiring contacts, then the submarine driving would possibly be at fault. It's ballzy by Toyota to put a snorkel on a stock truck. It's like begging you to drive it through a lake.

If there was corrosion, the damn thing wouldn't have even been scoped.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
the Ranger and ZR2 can go through a puddle like this okay. Pretty sure in Toyotas adds they show trucks splashing around in puddles.

You guys are funny. You think auto manufacturers need a CSI team to come down and a 12 page written report with expert witnesses to deny warranty.

    2 quick notes.

Snorkels aren’t for water, they’re for dust. Stop perpetuating myths because of a lack of understanding.

Toyota does in fact have a presence on this forum, it was discussed by @tcBob sometime between now and 2012.

Just trying to say chances are high that his mods are causing the problem.
Simple task to undo them until problem is found.
Funny thing though... almost everyone who mods and has problems hardly ever blames the mods to begin. They blame Toyota, the dealer or anyone other than themselves.
I hope the his truck has some warrantable condition that can easily be fixed.

Just an FYI if you ever get into some kind of litigation in the future, better to leave what is there and explain it away than delete it and have to explain why you deleted it.

That is all I want, I want to know what the problem is. If its actually one or more of the modifications, I'll pull off those modifications and repair the truck

Look I get it 100%. I agree his mods are probably the problem, but that doesn't excuse Toyota for not doing their due diligence. That's the camp that I come from. Prove it. That's all. There's a bunch of people who read the title or read a few responses and chime in, I'm just trying to keep things on track and keep the facts, facts. I got no dog in the hunt.
