I’m not quite sure why that would be hilarious, but I’ve made it pretty clear that I’m willing to pay to play here. Thank you for your opinion though!

They very much have reasonable ground. It's unreasonable to require a manufacturer to diagnose 15 different aftermarket parts effect on an electrical system.

“Reasonable ground”. Are you kidding? The dude tapped into his electrical system and installed a bunch of aftermarket electrical accessories and is now having electrical issues. That’s plenty enough reason to deny electrical warranty issues.

Seems simple remove all the aftermarket lights. Fix drl and if they go out you know it’s something else.

If I was Toyota I would blame the aftermarket lights.

I haven't read the whole thread but have you traced the wiring on the driver side light? If the only thing you did was raptor lights did they touch anything on that side? Knicked wire, loose harness, loose fuse, etc? Seems like it is extremely isolated in the system and there's a very limited surface area you can evaluate for issues.

I certainly do wish that was still Toyota’s position as it was earlier in this saga. That would make things much easier for me!

Interestingly, that was Toyota’s initial directive to the dealership before they ultimately authorized the repair. I do not believe it was ever done prior to Toyota subsequently denying the repair without any additional diagnosis between the two dates.

This is 100% correct. OP has modified the electrical which makes the dealers job much harder. If OP had returned to stock lighting and wiring, that would have made this whole situation smoother. OP said he is a civil attorney, but does not seem well versed with automotive law.

I think it describes your situation; rather than, support your position.
