Does only one person have a complaint? Fuck it, I hope he tries to bring litigation against Toyota Motor Corporation for an issue with a running light.

    My buddy works for an auto manufacturer dealing with things like this. Failures, fires, etc...They do get in the forums. Insurance companies also frequent forums. Yes I have a tin foil hat in the attic, but that's besides the point.

    What issue? That he installed some aftermarket accessories and now something doesn't work? He can just disconnect all of that stuff for a while and see if it comes back. How many of us can really see how he hacked into the factory wiring or component installation.

    I agree it sounds outrageous. I used to work for a few different auto insurance companies. We have literally denied claims because some dude on a jeep forum makes a thread like: "I fu*kd up my jeep offroading, how do I get my insurance to pay for it."
