DRL's help!

I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma with a TSS package it's a 4 door and long bed but it's pretty much just a base model didn't come with traction control or cruise control or fog lights or anything like that well I've seen some Tacomas with there turn signal on not flashing not just straight on and then flashes when you turn your blinker on mine does do that how can I get mine to do that? I had plans on running switch back LEDs in the turn signal but I have no way in keeping the white color on cause there's no consent power until I turn the blinker on. Thanks!

it'll discolor and melt the turnsignal lens inside the headlight...in the long run.

 

Even if the bulbs are LED I thought LED bulbs didn't get hot? well as hot as normal bulbs?

 

Take the plunge and report back in a few years.

 

Lol seems like a little to much work just to have the turn signals on, guess I'll make that off the list of things to do lol

 

Well it can be done without disassembly of the dash as the thread shows. Fingerless gloves to minimize sharp metal edge cuts and still have tactile sense to remove correct parts.

 

Ok thanks for information and help! I'll probably just pass on that idea I really don't wanna mess my headlights up.
