Yeah not sure why anyone calls it a coil bucket gusset the intent is to add double shear bolt protection to the UCA bolt. Solo's kit does come onto the face of the frame too so in theory it does something for the coil bucket but the facts are that nothing but a cross brace from bucket to bucket will stop those buckets from tweaking...it's actually the entire frame that flexes / \ \ / not just the buckets. The buckets act as leverage.

Yea, I've seen the damage on a LT truck. The brace is the way to go but not before you add a SC

Any worry of flex at the bottom of the shock tower. It appears from the limited photos I've seen that an inward flex may be an issue.

^ this, there is a bed cage that bolts to each shock tower with 8 - 1/2" grade 8 bolts on the top and inside of each tower. The bed cage also connects to the rear of the frame with tubing connects so it is rock solid.image.jpg

The shock towers do not penetrate the bed they fit the angles of the underside of the wheel wells perfectly then the bed cage bolts through the bed to the shock towers like this :

Note - I have a camper shell and a bed carpet kit and the bed is still completely sealed with this bolt through cage. So the bed is still nearly 100% usable.

Okay. Now I see how the towers bolt to the cage through the bed. Very ingenious design!

Do you still have your old rear set up? :spy:

I just got my TC and ICON front set up on Monday. Just waiting to get some time to install.

The shocks were around $650 each new :

    Base price 14" King = $325
    Add adjustable resi = $150
Add custom black parts = $75
Add custom hoses & fittings f/ Crown Performance = $100 ( the hoses are perfectly set up for the shock hoops )

The shock hoops were a $600 install but I am just selling the hoops themselves that just need new "feet" and welded on. So, I was thinking $1000 total with the shock hoops and shocks is a fair price.

I will be posting an add for everything that came of my truck, the DB kit, the Dirt King UCA and LCA's, rear shocks, hoops and leaf pack, flip kit, bump stops etc etc...

Yes, Glueman does have dibs he reached out to me last month when I first mentioned my new build. Sorry Jon, I had no idea that you were asking for yourself because there is no way a 14 with those hoops will fit under a non DB truck. I think the absolute max you can fit on a 3" lift truck with a hoop is a 12 ?

Yea, they may be able to fit but let glueman have em. They should go to someone with a worthy truck and his is well on the way.

I quoted some 12" with DSM. Free shipping, no tax.
