I hear drop bracket lifts are shit for wheeling, but say a 4'' drop bracket with some ome's, would it not flex just as good but be taller?

never heard this exact question asked yet..

thats what I'm asking.... how could it be worse than just an ome lift if you put a db lift and ome's?

Because the drop bracket hangs down lower than anything else.
Imagine taking a hit right in the center of it. Only one company makes a skid for 05+ trucks with a 6".

ok, but you can fit a larger tire, which brings it up higher than your dif would be with only a 2.5'' lift...

how bout for the 01-04's for skids?

also, it wouldn't cost much to get any average fab shop to make a skid...

yes i am always the victim.:p
its a real beefy kit thought. imagine hitting dead center with a stock frame and then with the beefy drop bracket. but hey its what ever floats your boat.
yeah it looks something like this.

    well, a "3 inch lift" is usually only about 2.5, go to a true 6inches, and from a 33 to a 35
your getting 4.5'' of lift over the regular 3 inch with 33's

oakleytrd, measure the hight to the lowest point at your front suspension.

none taken. but the aftermarket bracket is alot thicker than stock so it should hold its own.
