Drybag for bed storage compartments?

    Anyone use a drybag or something in there bed storage compartments. I was going to keep a few ratchet straps and bungees in them but I realized they are not waterproof, and I'm sure the ratchets would rust in not time.

    What else do you keep in there. Originally I thought it was useful space until I realized that its not really fully protected from the elements. Everything I can think of that I would like to keep in there would probable rust after a while. Tow chains, ratchet straps, spare bottle jack...

    Things I need to tow.
    Actually, I was more concerned that they're not lockable and the doors can come off or be stolen. (I'll secure them somehow, if only with cable ties.) I carry some bungees with vinyl covered hooks, a nylon tow rope and a couple of cad-plated ratchet straps. They should be okay and not rust. More valuable stuff goes inside

    If you really think you want to go that way go tk a marine or canoe place for yhem. Walmart had some chesp thin ones but I wouldn't use them for tools.
