I'm going to end up going this route

To answer your other question. Brake lines yes. Limit straps: Talking with TC about it it seems like you want b/c the shock is longer than the droop. What it sounds like to me Their kits are meant for stock length or 10" shocks. But can run a 12" if you have it

Yes on brake lines and it's up to you to check droop. If you go sua then yes you'll need limit straps because sua springs droop more than the 12" shock would.

I'm running the TC sua and feel like the stock length (10" ? ) is limiting the rear travel .. if the leaf pack limited travel you wouldn't need a strap .. correct ? You don't want the shock limiting travel

Nice. I really want the TC SUA kit. But yea you can get the hoop and do a 10" travel shock.

It's a nice mid travel setup .. but that's all it will ever be . I hit the bumps driving around town . If your going to the trouble of doing sua .. might as well go all the way

There is some truth in that. If I was on the west coast I would go with the DMZ SUA, but being on the east Im scared to let any do that sort of fab work. I ended up getting the TC spring under installed with the BAMF brackets. I will say this, BAMF doesn't have many references in their pics and my shop didnt have much info from talking with BAMF in regards to the install so def go with a shop who knows their shock relocation stuff. My shop got my shocks to get a full 12 inches out of my kings. I will be wheeling in two weeks from now so then I can confirm how it rides, but on the street it is a night and day difference with the spring under. Just to give some insight, took my shop roughly 8 hours to install the spring under completely and 6 hours for the shock relocation which they are very precise about. If your shop has done this exact spring under before you might be able to assume less of an install time.

Considering that the TC shock hoops look to mount the shock more vertical than horizontal, you may not get a full 12 with the shock hoops. In order for mine to achieve the full 12, my BAMF brackets were installed as far in the upper corners of the bed as they would go. Just some food for thought if you are indecision in regards to either the TC or BAMF relocation route.
