i currently have 1 sub (JL audio W3V3). I am considering having 2, all subs can go dual right? like all i need to do is buy another W3V3.. or can only some subwoofers do dual access?

it also depends on what load your amp is stable at, most subs are what 4ohms and wired parallel down to 2ohms? something like that

Run them in series and it'll give you a 4 ohm load. You'll need a big amp but that shouldn't be a problem. As Southern X pointed out most people buy two 4 ohm subs and run them in parallel so the amp doesn't need to be as big just 2 ohm stable.
