To a degree yes, but you submitted a paper for a completely different chemistry. You also referred to them as expensive (yes they are), but the example I gave costs even less than the equivalent AGM battery.

    Oh man…
Couldn’t find any setups here, anyone do a dual battery setup behind the seats? I’m going to do a rear seat delete and build my own shelving back there, figured I could move the batteries back there while I was at it. Still working through the plans. Thanks.

Awesome. Pics of how you mounted it? Is it the primary or secondary battery?

The solar controller died a couple months back. Renogy replaced it but I went with victron as it has a higher tolerance on operating temps and the Bluetooth is built in.

Got the 2nd battery mounted. Went with dual Everstart AGM batteries

Looks like the closest ground would be straight down to the frame

Braided line to the sheet metal wouldn't hurt either if you have radios onboard.

Hope all is well with the family! Hit me up if you're ever back in town!

I completely re-did my dual-battery setup recently. I designed and printed the battery holders and aux panel mount myself. The goal with the aux panel was to keep it small and clean. It also has a place to mount my clutch reservoir since I have a manual.

It is a "tough" PLA. TBD on how well it stands up to engine bay temps. If I notice some sagging I'll re-print in something else.

The same shit everyone else has.
I went from the battery to the factory ground behind the washer jug and from the battery to the chassis below the PS reservoir. There’s a bolt that holds an AC to the frame I used.

I saw that. Ended up just going straight down to the frame.

@anthony250f I have a 34F battery set up like yours. I probably went overkill on the grounding - I ran a wire to the back of passenger head and ran a wire all the way around to the primary battery. I haven't looked in a while - I probably also ran a wire to the chasis. I had plenty of wiring left over, so why not?!

Is there a good place to ground to the chassis near the engine bay?

Other than the body panel right next to the stock battery I mean.
