Anyone out there have tips for the ABS relocation? I've seen it moved back closer to the firewall in order to fit a battery tray and keep the stock air duct. It's the best space to put a second battery; I already have a compressor between the radiator and washer tank.

Personally I think it’s the best locating for a second battery. The abs module is not to hard to push out of the way. A small Wilco battery tray, and some cutting and can get one to fit 328F98DD-E404-4F81-A906-9A1882F1D631.jpg

The small black switch next to the voltmeter, is that for switch it on? I was wondering how to avoiding it on all the time, so I think this is the solution.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey guys I want to get in on this group buy for 2 batteries, but I got one problem, and that is what SIZE batteries can (or should) I get? I'm going to go with the Off-Grid side mount for the aux battery and also the front mount with the bluesea mount. I greatly appreciate any input, I already have 2 amps, adding led lights very soon, and also to have some room to grow... I h8 you tacomaworld haha
oh this is what I'm putting it in 2015 crewcab 4x4 offroad trd

Which group buy? The one for the Northstar batteries?

I am pretty sure the group 35 Northstar's are same dimensionally as the Odyssey PC-1400s and very similar specs too. Should fit like a glove in the Off-Grid kit.

Your dual battery setup looks very nice. I really like the neatness of the wiring.

    So I gotta ask...

What are you venting in your oil filler cap?
What are you filtering in your oil catch can line?

oil catch line filter is a gas line filter with the basket removed, used as a sight glass , when it starts to show oil on the glass the can is full enuf that it is starting to carry over,,,a just in case thing....

oil filler line is the return line from the by pass filter.....its a 98% eff at 2 micron oil filter that functions full time at a reduced flow..Oil is supplied from the oil pressure switch port using a tee ....IMG_0278 (1).jpg IMG_0268.jpg

Sight glass - makes sense. I have never overfilled my catch can, but have come close. That is a good idea.

A friend of mine runs a bypass filter. Another good idea...

I run a 10K Amsoil syn, pull a sample for testing at 5K, dump the can then.....but nice to see real time how the system is working and if it needs to be dumped...

Do you change your oil filter at 5K? My friend changes his at 3K or 4K (I forget which) and adds a quart of oil at the same time.

Don’t really have a right up, just made the space for it to fit. I used a WirthCo 21085 Battery Tray
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JPJHUHS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_iLLiBbZTC2K5R
Then had to cut off the one mounting foot for the air box. Then once the abs modul Mount was removed I cut and grinder the 2 studs that are welded to the fender, this allowed for the try to sit flat. 8C671997-67C8-4788-B9B8-37ED5499ECFA.jpg
Once the mount is out I drilled out the 2 spot welds on the flat bar mounting foot. Repurposed this piece to extend the lower mounting. B9720784-279D-4A8D-BDF1-719F63B861BB.jpg
Assembling everything back together I drilled 2 holes in the battery tray to mount one side of the abs bracket to not only secure it but also the tray. 0C08C150-A06C-4744-B21D-592BD5A22867.jpg
This gave enough room for a standard optima (group 35) to fit.
Bent a price of steel to make a battery hold down. Drilled a hole in the fender and added a riv-nut so it’s secure and easy to remove when the time comes. 8F6D86E4-8737-42A7-B6FB-0A70B8B9BF2C.jpg
