Yep! The first tray to be released is SPECIFICALLY designed to avoid moving the air pump. It bolts right in without any modification to the truck. This took a lot of careful planning, but it made for a slick looking install. I can't wait to get pics out...

I have never worked with one. However, after a quick look at them just now... I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

    Ha! Soon my friend. Soon.

I have a few prototypes that were plasma cut. Im working on final fitment and will have them cut via water jet for the final product. That's happening Monday. A test fit early next week, a shot of paint, and photos will be on the way.

Cool! Looking forward to it. Would be nice to have the option to head up the road and get my grubby mitts on the kit to see what it looks like.

Any chance when you sell the kits, you will sell without the batteries so shipping is cheaper? I can get ahold of those batteries around here I believe.

Count me in if you can help me with getting a set up that will work with my 99 Tacoma and 05 4runner. I was involved with GB and I guess that fell thru. I already have an auxillary fuse box...

Shoot me a PM if you do need a tester. I've got the SR5 with the air pump and would need the relocate to get the 2nd battery up there.

I actually will not be selling the batteries at all... for the time being at least.

The kit will be comprised of the custom tray, BlueSea ML-ACR relay with a custom attached wiring harness terminated at an in-cab switch, and pre-terminated, high strand count, USA made 2 AWG cables with tech flex braided wrap and aviation grade lugs crimped hydraulically.

Absolutely! Ive got my heart and soul in it now. Lets see where it goes!

I can absolutely help with that. Give me just a few weeks.

The first run of trays will be for the 2nd Gen tacoma on the passenger side (which is being cut Monday). The second design will be a side-by-side dual battery tray for the 2nd gen. The third design will be a side-by-side dual battery tray for the 1st Gen. 4th gen 4Runners will be after that...Other trays and kits to follow as well as custom in-cab management systems.

I need to look again at the first Gen. to fully understand if that can be done. When that design period comes around here shortly, I'll be asking for test fit vehicles here locally. We'll let you know!

No relocate necessary!! You're going to love this design.

Alright folks. This thread is becoming worthless without pics, right?!.

Here is a teaser photo of the 2nd gen Tacoma passenger side battery tray. The tray will be cut from 1/4 inch aluminum and of course have a few other components (tie-down rods, tie down, hardware, etc.). It will require no permanent modification of the truck whatsoever. The fuel resistor that is bolted to the inner fender will simply swing 90 degrees and bolt to the new bracket.... and voila, room for your second battery. Questions, comments, concerns?

    Thanks!

It is designed to work very well with the Odyssey Group 25 or 35 PC1400 batteries. I have also test fit an Optima Group 34 and 35. They also fit well. The Group 35 Odyssey battery will be the focus of most of my designs.
