    howdy

I just received a dual switch that I want to use to operate both front and rear accessory lights. Of course it was an eBay special and there are no instructions.

I assume the black is negative. But what about the other colored wires? I’m assuming the red/purple go to the relay for the spot lights and the green and yellow to the relay for the rears.

From what I've experienced, black is ground, red is hot, blue is illumination, green is to the circuit, yellow is probably to the other circuit. By circuit I mean the lights you are trying to power.

I just tested with a 9v battery. The yellow is the switch illumination. Ugh.

First time seeing a two-in-one switch like that

If you don’t have an aux panel then make that diagram the battery and use an inline fuse
