Ok guy's new here, but been reading for a while. I have a 2007 DBC TRD with stock suspension, with stock tires and rims (265/70R/16). I want to put Duratrax's size 265/75R/16.on. Will they rub? Also how's $720 mounted, balanced, lifetime rotation, out the door sound? Thanks

No rubbing issues with that size. As for the price make sure to take advantage of the treadlightly.org rebate.

You may have to trim or remove front mudflaps.

Lot's of folks report "no rubbing" but have already removed the mudflaps for cosmetic reasons.

Heh heh. You didn't take the picture from the other angle to show us what the clearance is. :stirthepot:

But seriously, stock wheels may have slightly more backspacing than aftermarket wheels, leading to the difference.

All I know is there have been several posts from folks who DID experience rubbing, photographed the evidence, and had to trim or remove their mudflaps.

And when I was considering ordering that size, the tire shop would only order them on the condition that I was willing to remove the mudflaps if necessary; they wouldn't take 'em back if they just touched/rubbed the flaps.

So a caution to the OP that the size isn't guaranteed to fit with no rubbing under all circumstances seems appropriate.

I had rubbing on very sharp turns in the front. I believe it was from my mud flaps. It didn't happen all the time tho. But then again I had the fj 16s so they may have stuck out alittle more then the stock rims wouldve
