E-rated rubber: 18", 17", or 16"; the debate continues...

Yes, there are plenty of wheel-size, and especially tire-size conversations going on all over the place. I've discussed the topic in various threads, as well as in-person with more than a few people. This thread is (currently) for me to keep track of the price trends between tire sizes, to help me decide which size wheel to go with when it's time for new rubber.
Yes, I've got 18"s right now; I bought the truck with them, and honestly have had no issues with them at all. I've aired down to 12psi with no problems, and will probably let them go a little lower.

Here's what I currently have:

• 4x XD Monster 18" x 9" (not sure of offset or backspacing).
• 4x 285/65/18 BFG KO2
• 1x OEM 17" spare wheel from TRD Sport
• 1x 285/70/17 BFG Rugged Terrain T/A (spare - which will ONLY go on the front if/when I need it)

For sanity's sake, I am planning on limiting this thread (at least my portion of it) to the pricing of the three ~33" variants of BFG KO2, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac, and Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx from Tire Rack. I'm not trying to point out deals or sales (yet), I'm simply tracking price trends for the above-mentioned options, to help decide on what size wheel I will be buying later.

For a set of 5, the 18" option is more expensive than the 16" option by:
$385.00 for the KO2s
$355.00 for the Duratracs
$341.45 for the S/T Maxx


Like I said, this is mostly for me to track things, but feel free to chime in with opinions and suggestions.
