I purchased a set of these lights from OctaneMotorsports.com in CA. They were VERY competitively priced and came to me in great shape and good working order (new of course).

Installation was a breeze after a messing with some well hidden bolts, and they look and work great!

Only issue I had was a bit of fogging within the light itself. It was all cleared up today though!!

Great product and I'd recommend them to any owner of a 2006 Tacoma... Pics of mine:

I know... I messed with the rubber things in the back a little and it seems to have cleared up... I'll keep you all posted... Overall, still a great experience.

Ok, I had more fogging this morning... I think there is a correlation between the temps/dew points that causes it... that and it's probably a bad seal.

The GOOD news is that by time I got to work - it was all cleared up :)

Any ideas on fixing the seal without tearing it apart again?

I'd give it a few days to really clear up. If that doesn't do the trick, follow the black headlight mod and instead of taking it apart, push it together.

I was told the CCFL is better. That is what I have... It supposedly produces less heat and lasts longer - time will tell. :)

How are they working out now adays? Did you get them right? If you don't mind what is a resonable price? I was told these would work well with my HIDs, to keep from blinding people, or would I need new headlights.

They are working great!! I love them!! Be careful when adding HID - I heard that the heat produced by HID was too hot for the plastic and might melt the backing... I got them from that website - I think for $277 to my door. I have seen some as high as 400+, so shop around for sure!

Actually that is just the opposite your HID lights will produce less heat and use less juice.

Maybe I'm different, but why would you want to put angel eyes on your tacoma? Angel eyes are from German auto decent, specifically from BMW. With that said why would you want to make your Tacoma look like a BMW?

To me it doesn't make any sense! FWIW, "angel eyes" are used in Germany and other countries near or at dusk when vehicles pass through the town, so headlights don't blind people on the crowded streets.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion!
