Very nice, i like those wheels a LOT more after you got rid of the silver lining. Does the TX come with the TRD exhaust? If so, how do you like it?

The TX has everything minus the exhaust! IMO, I have never heard a V6 sound good, so I didn't want the TRD exhaust.

speechless, seriously! VERY nice truck. would it be bad if i copied ya on one thing? i really like your engine compartment, but i would do mine in bright white. and you took your beads off...im assuming you put the bolts back in the rims. prolly one of my fav. trucks on TW! makes me want to take better care of mine. thanks.

What did you use for paint on the engine cover? Does it need to be heat resistant?

I appreciate the complement! Copy away, I copied from others it from others. The bead is still there just took it off and plastidip'd it. Kept the bolts as is. I will eventually decide how I want to make the balck permanent on them. The plastidip was my way of a trial run.

I did some research on here to see what others used. I went with a multi-use paint that works well on plastic. It doesn't need to be heat resistant. Mine is holding up just fine as others that I've seen. I believe the engine heat dissipates enough for it to be fine. heck the piece is plastic...

Now that's an idea (the TRD blue), I was planing on painting my calipers blue tomorrow. I might end up painting them too!

wonder if he used "dip" or paint??? i would think that if he used paint, it should be heat resistant. could you even do that with "dip"?

Nice truck! Just the right amount of black, looks real clean. Also, I like your holster mod a lot. Looks like you just put some foam padding in the compartment?

I used some high density foam from a pelican case insert and did some cutting to fit my gun how I wanted it. Easy mod that puts my weapon in easy reach.
