yes sir kept them on this winter, the Eagle rep himself told me they make a "rock solid product that can stand up the the harshest conditions and still maintain its original lustre and appearance"

    that sucks....
You can bypass the shops trying to screw you by powder coating the wheels yourself. It might be a PITA to get the things together but it's worth a shot. Find an old stove, at least 18" across/deep and 12" tall inside, and buy the powder coating set from SEARS. Then get the wheels blasted or do it with a wire brush. It'll take a little work on your part but well worth it in the end.
I only bring this up because a buddy did this exact thing. He found a commercial oven for a good price and he does his own stuff now.

Damn, that sucks. They just use salt and cinders here. It almost looks like the rims were sandblsted.

they do everrything to the roads up here, salt/sand/ hell they use a salt "solution" which is nothing but a nighhhhttttmare they spray it on the roads before a snowstorm in order to prevent the ice from forming i'm just kind of at a loss to be honest its a huge PITA

The Eagle rims I had on my CJ rusted the centercaps too. And those were plastic center caps... never seen plastic rust before lol. It did this inside a year too... my rims were just clearcoated polished aluminum so the rest of the wheel held up fine.

If your serious post em up for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade Thread dude...Someone may want em. Or, take em some place and have that rust and grime sand blasted off and then have em powder coated black :) That should cost less than 1 Konig Wheel

Haha, yeah I'm not really serious... I don't think. Shipping rims from Alaska would seriously suck! I'll just get these ones touched up when I can afford it. I have a bigger problem with these rims at the moment, and that's the lack of rubber wrapping them
